Petsense Factory Direct Stores are a pet lovers' paradise. Founded in 2005 by Jim Dougherty, Petsense is rapidly growing throughout the country and is mainly located in rural markets.
Jim founded the first national pet superstore chain in 1986, which changed the way pet owners shopped and cared for their pets. Today, Jim realizes there is a large void for pet lovers who live in rural markets. Petsense was founded to fill that void and provide the following products and services not available in other retailers both in our traditional stores and our online store.
